Description

The Innovative Solutions & Support Integrated Flight Management System Navigation Database is utilized in the
IS&S FMS.

IS&S has been issued a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) as a Type 2 data supplier under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular (AC) 20-153A. The information below indicates the hardware and software part numbers that are compatible with the corresponding Navigation Database Part Numbers. The two-digit identifier at the end of the Navigation Database part number corresponds to the version of the IS&S Navigation Database Conversion Tool that was used to generate the database.

NOTE (1):       This Type 2 LOA only applies to the FMS-NavDB.

NOTE (2):       Changes to the IS&S part numbers listed on a TSOA will be submitted to the BACO under the TSOA process, in accordance with 1U-03469.   Changes affecting the last three (3) digits of any Database Part Number will require this document, 1D-08880, to be submitted to the BACO for approval.

NOTE (3):       The NAV DB type (*.F01 or *.F02) identifies NAV DB file compatible to the corresponding system.

NOTE (4):       This Type 2 LOA only applies to the Obstacle Database and Terrain Database used by the PC-12 9K-88103-1 SVS and Eclipse 9K-07048-5 SVS.

NOTE (5):       This Type 2 LOA only applies to E-Charts database and Map file (EFB).

Notices and alerts are listed here to advise users of the IS&S Integrated Flight Management System Navigation Database of issues that may affect flight operations or safety.

It is the responsibility of the end user to ensure the Navigation Database loaded in their Flight Management System (FMS) is current and valid for the intended operation. If an error is discovered, the end user should notify Jeppesen or IS&S following the steps of the Problem Reporting process below.
